Submission Guidelines

The 23rd international Sol-Gel Conference will bring together experts in the fields of inorganic and organic-inorganic hybrid materials prepared by sol-gel and related soft chemistry routes. It will be the place to cross the frontiers between academy and industry, and will cover all aspects of materials and nanomaterials design from fundamentals to applications.

The International Sol-Gel Conference is a gathering with the following objectives:

  • Attract high quality papers in different subfields
  • Offer the opportunity to be updated on the latest research outputs on several topics
  • Organize specific workshops around the most attractive and current issues
  • Gather worldwide experts as conference speakers

Abstracts must be submitted and presented in English.

Each contribution must relate to one of the featured conference topics.

Submission Process

Abstracts should be submitted via the the online platform (above button).

Registered participants are entitled to submit one abstract for poster or oral presentation.

Abstracts must be structured as follows: Title, Authors, Addresses, Contacts, Body Text, Acknowledgement and References.

  • The abstract body text is limited to 2,000 characters including spaces.
  • The title should be written in standard sentence style with lower case letters (except first word, names, human gene names, etc.).
  • The text should be grammatically suitable for publication.
  • Special characters can be included during submission.
  • Non-standard abbreviations must be defined in the text.

Conditions, Requirements

The presenter is responsible for compliance with data protection, copyrights, ethical regulations and laws.

Please ensure that your abstract does not contain any spelling or grammatical errors, as it will be reproduced as submitted.

Review, Acceptance

All submitted abstracts will be reviewed by several international experts.

Abstracts that contain formal errors (multi-topic submission, not anonymised) will be rejected.

Acceptance, Publication

Accepted abstracts will be published in the Book of Abstracts.

Only abstracts of registered and paid participants will be included, so please make your payment in time.
